Strand & Fight was founded on a simple yet powerful belief: no one should face cancer alone.

Founded by pediatric cancer survivor Jacqueline Thompson, Strand and Fight was born from personal experience and a deep desire to help others navigate one of life's most difficult journeys with confidence, dignity, and hope. After experiencing the emotional impact of hair loss at a young age during treatment, Jacqueline understood firsthand how deeply it could affect a person's identity and self-esteem.

That experience became the foundation for Strand and Fight.

Our nonprofit provides custom wigs to individuals undergoing cancer treatment, helping restore not only hair, but also confidence during a time when it is needed most. Every wig is thoughtfully selected because we believe every individual deserves to feel like themselves throughout their cancer journey.

At Strand & Fight, we know healing extends beyond medical care. It is found in compassion, community, and the people who stand beside us when we need them most.
